We are looking for artists to participate in a show with a central theme involving the importance of our furred and feathered friends. The arts and crafts in this show should reflect their personalities and the impact animals have on our daily lives. The possibilities are endless.

Artwork for this exhibit will be selected from your digital images, submitted by August 22, to sutnstar@aol.com.

Delivery for accepted art is Saturday, August 25, 2009. Work delivered after that date may not be included in the show. A number of local and regional artists have already committed to this exhibition and we are always looking for new and unusual interpretations of the theme.

This exhibit is being held in conjunction with shows at The Suffolk Museum and Red Thread Studio, members of Suffolk Downtown Arts. During this show Shooting Star Gallery will be a collection site for donations to The Suffolk Humane Society. Everyone is encouraged to bring donations of dog and cat food, toys, treats and kitty litter to help this great cause.
